Dexcom G7 15 Day: one sensor, two weeks and change
The Dexcom G7 15 Day is Dexcom’s newest sensor. One sensor is worn for up to 15.5 days (15 days plus a 12-hour grace period to change it), so you go from three sensor changes a month to two. It sends a glucose reading every 5 minutes to your phone, your Apple Watch or the Dexcom receiver, needs no fingersticks to calibrate, and lets you set your own high and low alerts. The 15 Day sensor is for adults 18 and older; the Dexcom G7 10-day sensor is still available and is cleared for ages 2 and older.
